Bastian was coming out of the locker room when he was met by Rusty and Lance. who shoved him back to the wall just inside the room. Bastian was a tough kid and didn't like being pushed around but knew he could not take on both of these guys. He had been told that he was playing with fire when he started his campaign against Tommy, a member of Kevin's Posse. He figured now was pay up time as Kevin pushed in between his two heavyweight goons. "So", said Kevin, "you like picking on Tommy.. a guy a lot smaller and younger than you huh?" Bastian maintained his composure and figured if he was going to get a beating he was going to take it like a man and said, "Yeah.. I liked it Kev ole boy. I liked it a lot!" Kevin just smiled and said, "Good", and reached over to his right and grabbed Tommy by the scruff of the neck and shoved him at Bastian. Tommy fell at Bastian's feet and Kevin said, "Because he's of no use to me anymore. You may as well have him!" Bastian looked a bit startled and as Kevin and his buddies turned to go Rusty made a backhand motion as if he were going to hit Tommy. Tommy recoiled and covered his face. Rusty just said, "Pussy!" Lance gave a hard shove of Bastian's shoulder and pointed a warning finger right in his face as he left. Bastian didn't like that. He didn't like that at all!

Tommy had lost what few friends he had and he felt very alone and scared.
