HB & Kane Vs Jake, Mike & Tom...I jimsub81

It had been several weeks since HB and Kane had lost their title to Corwin and Drew. Kane had taken quite a beating in particular. Not only did the two former champs want to recover fully but they wanted to work on their skills and endurance before returning. They had suffered two defeats in a row and the last thing they needed was a third to mar their return match. And a return match was exactly what they wanted. They felt they had come too far and were too good to simply fade away as a "flash in the pan".

When the entered the TW gym all eyes turned to watch them. As was their custom, they spoke to nobody and simply began their workout. A workout was not their reason for being here they wanted a match and they wanted it to be a good one! The only other tag in the gym was the three man team of Jake, Mike & Tom. HB and Kane had gone over the potential tag teams together over and over but for some reason never considered a handicap match. HB whispered his idea to challenge the three boy team to his partner and Kane's eyes widened and he actually smiled at the thought. HB & Kane walked over to the bench where the three were sitting.The trio was slightly on edge as they approached but there were three of them and they felt secure in numbers. "Well well well, to what do we own the honor of this visit?", asked Jake. There was a tone of sarcasm in his voice that was not lost on either of the two former champs. Kane took an instant dislike to all of them but to Jake in particular. HB began, "We just thought we could help you out." "How's that?", asked Tom. HB continued, "We thought that we would give you the honor of being our first victory in our return to action bout.", HB finished and smiled broadly. Jake said, "You...YOU TWO want to take on ALL THREE of us?" There was a sense of disbelief in his voice. The same thought went through all the minds of the three teen team, 'Sure HB and Kane were tough but NOT THAT tough. They conferred a few moments together and Jake turned and said, "OK fellas, you got yourselves a match." HB and Kane turned and walked away to go to the office to get the paperwork done. "See ya in the ring losers!", said Jake as they left. Kane spun around with a look of fury in his eyes ready to squash that cocky kid but HB grabbed hold of his arm and said, "Save it for the ring big guy."

The TW managers were a little apprehensive about having HB and Kane come back in a handicap match. They, more than anyone else wanted the former champs back in action but they didn't want a star attraction get beat in their return match. But after some convincing they agreed and the match was inserted into the next card. The card was full but they decided to bump the match between Xander and Wesley. The two lightweights would just have to get over it.

Following the outstanding bout between Bill and Mike came the announcement of this match. It had not been part of the original card so the crowd was expecting the Wesley Vs Xander match.

"Ladies and gentlemen we there has been a change in our card tonight. Our next match will be a tag team handicap match. First, at a combined weight of 465 pounds... JAKE, MIKE AND TOM!" The three boys ran to the ring to a good round of applause. They had not scored a win yet but the fans admired their heart. "And their opponents, at a combined weight of 329 pounds, making their return to TW ring action... HB AND KANE!" The two strutted toward the ring. The audience was at first shocked to hear them announced but once they were the audience booed like crazy. But deep down in the hearts of many fans they were thrilled to see them back. They were the boys they loved to hate and they knew they were being treated to something special tonight. The two took the ring and faced off against their three opponents. After the usual briefing the bell rang...

HB began against Mike. They headed toward each other Make prepared for a lock up but HB whipped a heavy boot point into Mike's stomach the doubled him over. A chop across the back of the neck sent him down to his knees. Another kick to the boy's underbelly flipped him to his back. HB came down onto him with an elbow drop to the chest. He followed by scooping him up in slam position. He tagged in Kane and Kane lay down on his back as HB pressed Mike over his head and dropped him. Kane aimed both feet up in a kick that struck the falling boy in the stomach sending him flying to the center of the mat. Mike crashed down hard.

Kane followed over to him and Dropped a punch to the boys' forehead and pulled him up. Everyone wondered what he was going to punish the kid with next but he just shoved Mike toward his teammates as if daring a fresh piece of meat to enter the fray. Mike fell into the waiting arms of his friends and just said, "Holy Shit!" Kane glared and pointed a long finger at Jake challenging him to enter. Jake swallowed a lump down his throat but had too much pride to back down. Jake stepped through the ropes.

Jake made a quick charge at Kane that he really did not expect. Jake's forearm crashed into Kane's hard chest and sent him back to the ropes. But Kane bounced off the ropes and rammed a shoulder into Jake that flattened him. Jake jumped up fast but was met by a forearm smash to the side of his head followed by a knee lift to his face that laid him out. Kane hopped in the air and landed with both knees to Jake's young gut. Jake's breath was forced from his lungs and He was pretty much at Kane's mercy.... Of which Kane showed none. He picked the wheezing boy up and tossed him to the ropes and caught him in a bear hug as he recoiled. Jake was being squashed by Kane's now well known strength. He still had not gotten his breath back and the cruel bear hug was making it impossible. Tom had seen enough and charged Kane from behind.

Tom hit Kane with a knee to the back causing him to release his victim. Jake collapsed in a heap as Kane turned to face Tom. But HB was already on the poor boy. HB spun Tom around and drove a thumb to the throat gagging the kid good. He then grabbed the back of his neck and walked him to the turnbuckles and rammed his blonde buzz cut head into the buckles over and over. After six rams to the buckles HB and Kane each took half of Tom and hoisted him up in a double back suplex. Tom was dropped down hard on his back next to the still gasping Jake. Mike then rushed even though he was not full recovered. HB and Kane each stuck out a boot. HB's hit Mike's chin and Kane's hit the kid's chest. Mike was now down too. HB pounced on him, scooped him up in a slam position and tossed him out of the ring! Kane had turned on Jake and in much the same manner tossed him on top of Mike. Then together they both picked up Tom. HB took the feet while Kane took his arms and flung Tom over the top rope to come crashing down onto his two team members laying on the arena floor!

The crowd was incensed and booed wildly at they despised boys. The referee at last got HB out of the ring and the three teen team slowly crawled back to their corner. Kane rested against the ropes talking to HB as they waited to see who they would send in next. It was to be Tom.

Kane tagged in HB and he made faint lunges at Tom. HB was just toying with the kid. He was openly laughing at Tom's apprehension. HB then reached over and just slapped Tom's cheek. He slapped it again. Tom was becoming enraged at the taunting and humiliation. When HB slapped his face a third time Tom roared and lunged HB. He had played right into HB's plan and HB caught him in a side head lock. Tom was still pumped with fury and was struggling hard, a little harder than HB had expected. HB drove a fist to the forehead and lifted a knee to the gut. Tom still struggled so HB drove TWO fists to the forehead and TWO big knee lifts to the gut. The last blow to his belly took the starch out him and Tom went limp. HB regripped him and applied a DDT! "Lets do it bro!" , called Kane to HB. HB smiled and said, "One more!" HB picked up Tom and whipped him to the ropes. HB shot a viscous elbow to the chest as he rebounded and Tom was really out of the fight.

HB pulled him up and walked him over to Kane and made the tag. HB then hoisted Tom up onto his own back positioning him so he was sitting on his broad shoulders. Kane had climbed the to the top of his corner and stood atop the top ropes. He then leapt slamming his butt into Tom's chest. At the same time HB let go of him. Tom fell from atop HB's shoulders with Kane right on top of him. He hit the mats hard and all of Kane's weight came crushing down onto his sternum! Kane stood up over the demolished boy. He crossed his arms and placed a foot on Tom's heaving chest. The referee could have counted to 1000! The bell rang and HB and Kane were announced as the winners. The audience hated it.

After the announcement that they were the winners HB took the microphone from the announcer and said, "My partner ", he out his arm around Kane, "and I want to let every tag team in the league to hear this. WE are going to regain our tag team title." The audience booed but he continued, "And if ANYBODY gets in our way they are going to wind up like these three losers." He pointed to Jake, Mike and Tom who were just exiting the ring with Tom leaning heavily on his mates. "And, we want to send a special message to Corwin and Drew. You guys are just pretenders. And .. assuming another team doesn't beat us to it... we are gonna beat you so bad in our rematch...AND THERE WILL BE A REMATCH! That you are gonna wish you never heard of the names HB and Kane."
