8 Man Tag Team..Part1 jimsub81
About the time that Drew was dishing out some heavy punishment to Frank and Bryan there was a knock at the door of Kevin's team's room. Kevin jumped up and said, "I'll get it." "I hope that's our heavyweight," said Martin, "we could use one you know!" Kevin opened the door wide and in stepped the last piece of their team. "This heavy enough for you Martin?", asked Kevin, then under his breath called Martin, "Spaz". The rest of the team was elated to see the hulking form of before them. Perhaps the strongest boy in the league they now thought they were invincible. The audience was going to love this thought Kevin, or hate it as the case may be.
As the wildly popular tag team of Corwin and Drew exited the arena the crowd was dying down from the excitement of that fight and all attention was paid to what the ring announcer said next. And now..the main event of the evening, the one you've all been waiting for. This is a special eight man tag team match. There are a few special rules that will apply here. The teams will consist of one member from each weight class plus one additional member of the team's choosing. There will two members from each team allowed in the ring at any one time. The match will be two out of three falls and any pinned wrestler must be allowed to tag out. He is not out of the match and can be tagged in again. And now lets meet the participants!...
First the captain of team one, representing the heavyweight division standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing in at 226 pounds....DANE!" Serious cheering went up for the handsome heavyweight as he entered. "And, representing the middleweight division standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing in at 160 pounds....JOEY!". In his now familiar orange bikini Joey ran in to the same wild applause that Dane got. "And, representing the lightweight division, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, WESLEY!" Wesley had had limited exposure but what people had seen of him they liked. He was only 14 years old but had a totally ripped body and showed obvious power in such a small form. He joined the others in the ring. "And the wildcard member of the team, representing the middleweight division, standing 6 feet tall and weighing in at 192 pounds....DARYL!" Everyone knew Daryl had signed on with the team, his first tag team event ever. And, as always, the powerful bodybuilder got a hearty round of applause.
"And now their opponents. First the Captain of the team, representing the lightweight division standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing in at 128 pounds....KEVIN!" To say that Kevin got a poor reception would be an understatement. Boos reverberated off the ceiling as he walked smugly to the ring. "And representing the middleweight division, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing in at 170 pounds....MARTIN". Martin had started with potential to become a fan favorite but his relationship with Kevin turned all that and he was loudly dismissed. "And, the wildcard member of the team also from the middleweight division, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing in at 165 pounds ....ONE HALF OF 'THE BAD BOYS'......BRETT!" Brett got no better reception than the others. "And the final member of the team, representing the heavyweight division, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing in at 227 pounds....PAT!" Nobody had know who the final part of the team was to be and all were stunned when the big, powerful heavyweight stepped to the aisle. He got almost no reaction all from the audience as they were mostly surprised to see him taking part in the event..and on Kevin's side no less. But if he was part of this team he was seen as a bad guy and he was greeted by a rising decibel of boos as he approached the ring. But all watching were eager to see this massive young man in ring action.
he two teams stepped forward. Each member seemed to have a counterpart on the other side to match up against. But it was never assured it would work that way. Any combination of match ups was possible given the circumstances. The rules were gone over once again and all were checked for weapons. The bell sounded..the match was on.
Dane and Joey started out against Pat and Martin. Dane and Pat locked up and the powerful Pat pushed Dane to a neutral corner where he proceeded to give the tall Dane some heavy knee lifts to the gut.
Joey took a flying leap at Martin catching him in a leg scissors hold and took him down. Joey applied all the strength his muscular legs and had Martin gasping as the cute blonde's legs crushed his abdomen.
Pat was delivering a series of hard chops to Danes chest, then hip tossed the heavyweight landing him right on top of Joey. Joey was severely winded and Martin escaped the scissors. Now free Martin picked up the stunned Joey and whipped him to the ropes catching him with a hard elbow to the chest and Joey went down hard.
Pat stomped Dane's gut hard and picked him up and shot him to the ropes. Dane was far from out of it and regained his senses and plowed back into Pat with a heavy shoulder block sending Pat falling back.
Martin stomped Joey in his chest and tagged in Kevin. Kevin made hi entrance via the top rope landing a flying elbow drop to Joey's gut.
Meanwhile Dane had tagged in Daryl. Kevin had poised himself to land another elbow to the reeling Joey but Daryl caught Kevin with a hard chop to the chest that sent the smallest of the wrestlers half way across the ring. Daryl then proceeded to pull the limp Joey to the safety of his own corner. Pat caught Daryl across the back with a double handed ax blow and Daryl fell stunned from the powerful whack. Pat went to his corner to tag Brett. Joey managed to tag Wesley and roll limply to the apron.
Kevin regained his senses and closed on the young muscle boy Wesley. They faced off without locking up and Kevin drew back and fired a punch as hard as he could into the washboard stomach. Kevin's knuckles hurt as they impacted the hard abs. Wesley just smiled and snatched up Kevin and easily body slammed him.
Brett was a little intimidated by Daryl so he went straight for the big guy's eyes with a rake. A pained Daryl then suffered a round house boot to the side of his head. Daryl was shaken but didn't go down.
Meanwhile, Wesley tossed Kevin into a neutral corner chest first. Wesley followed with a body splash but Kevin ducked in time and Wesley rammed his own chest into the turnbuckles at full speed. Kevin then kicked Wesley hard in the back and Wesley was hurt.
Daryl shook off a punch form Brett and delivered one of his own which Brett could now way shake off and Brett's knees buckled. Daryl then tossed Brett out of the ring and followed him out.
Kevin meanwhile gripped Wesley in a head lock and walked him back to his corner and tagged Martin. Kevin stretched Wesley out in front of the well built 15 year old and Martin plowed two strong fists into the hard stomach. Martin was impressed by Wesley's muscle tone but Martin's fists were much harder than Kevin's and Wesley felt them rock his body.
Outside the ring Daryl grabbed up the Bad Boy Brett and gave two chops to the chest then slammed his face down hard onto the apron. He then shoved the boy back into the ring and followed right behind.
Wesley and Martin the hooked up collar and elbow. Martin's strength was showing as he pushed Wesley to a corner. Wesley made a brilliant move and fell backward pulling Martin along too. Wesley put his feet into Martin's gut and shoved shooting the middleweight up into the air landing hard on his back. Wesley quickly was on him rolling Martin over and slapping on a standing arm bar while literally standing on Martin's back.
Daryl picked up the shaken Brett and easily body slammed him. He then went to tag out but his inexperience in tag teaming showed as he left Brett to tag out as well. Daryl tagged in Dane and Dane gave Daryl a look of disgust at having made a serious blunder. Brett had tagged in Pat.
Before Dane could stop him Pat rushed at Wesley who was still in the process of ripping Martin's arm off his body. A huge kick from the heavyweight slammed hard into the lightweight's belly and Wesley flew several feet freeing Martin. Dane had been moving toward Pat but was not fast enough to stop the kick Wesley got but Dane did manage to slam a mighty shoulder block into the blind side of Pat the propelled Pat right through the ropes to the mats outside the ring. Wesley managed to tag in Joey. With Pat out for a moment Dane and Joey both converged on the still reeling Martin. Joey grabbed Martin's feet while Dane took his hands. They then started to swing the young muscle teen like a toy between them. As Pat entered the ring Dane and Joey released Martin in an upswing and sent his hard body flying into Pat. Both boys fell in a heap totally stunned. Joey took Martin while Dane raised Pat. Martin and Pat were each tossed to opposite neutral turnbuckles. Then , almost immediately, they were Irish whipped into each other in the center of the ring. Both teens went down hard with Martin taking the brunt of the blow. Joey covered Martin while Dane covered Pat. A double pin would win the match right then and there. But only Joey was successful in getting a 3 count as Pat kicked out.
Martin was allowed to tag in Kevin as the referee announced Dane's team had achieved one fall.
Dane slapped a sleeper on a groggy Pat. But as Kevin entered he avoided Joey and delivered a drop kick to the
back of Dane's head. Dane fell forward dazed, as was Pat. Joey went to grab the little guy but Kevin ducked
away and hit the ropes behind Joey. The blond turned just in time to receive a clothesline in the chest from
Kevin. Joey was floored by the blow. Dane rolled and tagged in Daryl.
Pat groggily tagged in Martin.
Kevin got a bit too cocky and went toe to toe with Joey as they traded gut punches. After a second blow from Joey Kevin realized he was in over his head and retreated to tag in Brett.
Brett rushed at Joey but Joey caught him in a side hip toss and took a lesson from Wesley and stood on Brett's back and twisted his arm just as Wes had done to Martin earlier.
Daryl had Martin in the corner firing a rapid series of gut punches to Martin's hard abs, which were beginning to soften.
Pat didn't think much of Brett's ability and thought the kid was going to submit to the arm twisting so he rushed the ring and rammed a forearm to Joey's throat sending him into his own corner. Joey tagged in Dane and Pat retreated.
Daryl had Martin in a crushing bear hug that he turned into an equally crushing belly to belly suplex and Martin
was in a world of hurt. Daryl then tossed Martin out of the ring.
Dane had picked up Brett and tossed him to the same ropes Martin had just gone over. Dane meant to deliver a
forearm smash as Brett rebounded but Brett ducked under it and Dane's flying forearm smashed into the face of
his own partner Daryl. Dane went to see if Daryl was OK as it appeared as if he were unconscious. Brett jumped
on Dane's back and slammed his face into the mats as Martin got back in an applied the cover to the still
unmoving Daryl getting the three count.
The falls were now tied at one each in the best of three.
Daryl regained his senses and tagged in Wesley who promptly put a clothesline to Brett freeing Dane. He then locked up with Martin as they traded gut punches in a duel that appeared to be even.
Daryl had cleared the cobwebs out of his head and began shouting accusations at Dane distracting him which allowed Brett to tag in Pat. Pat came at Dane from behind and lifted him in a body slam that took Dane totally off guard. He then cinched in a figure four leg lock and had Dane groaning through gritted teeth.
Daryl had apparently had enough of team work and friends in general and exited the arena wondering how he could have let Joey talk him into this in the first palce. There was only one person that was really going to watch after you he thought, and that person is yourself.
The audience booed Daryl as he left his teammates in a very one sided situation,
Martin broke the string of gut punches he had been trading with Wesley and shot a sharp boot point to the youngster's belly. He then got Wesley in a side head lock and walked him back to his corner tagging in Kevin. Martin stretched a weakened Wesley across his knee in a back breaker and, from the top rope, Kevin slammed a double ax handle into the young muscle boy's belly
Meanwhile Dane refused to submit so Pat broke the hold and dropped a knee to Dane's chest. Dane was rolling in pain on the mats as Wesley was trying to make for his corner on hands and knees when Kevin shot a hard kick to the gut. He then hammered a double ax handle to Wesley's back.
Pat went for another elbow drop but Dane avoided it as Pat slammed empty mat.
A now angry Dane rammed a stiff forearm to the big guy's throat while delivering a series of body punches that had Pat writhing. Dane then left Pat and went to help Wesley. Dane grabbed Kevin by the throat a lifted him up with one arm. Kevin looked terrified as he looked into the angry face of Dane his feet a full two feet off the mats.
Pat had come up behind Dane and plowed a hard fist into the tall heavyweights kidney. Dane dropped Kevin.
Wesley was free to tag in Joey and Kevin was able to tag in Martin. Joey delivered a drop kick to Pat as he
entered sending Pat staggering back to his own corner where he tags in Brett. Dane limped over and tagged in
Wesley. He didn't want to send the already beat Wes back so soon but the leg lock Pat have given him made him
almost unable to walk at the moment.
Brett hooked up with Joey, fired a kick to the gut and deliberately shoved him into the referee causing himself and Joey to fall on the referee. Brett did what he could to hold both down.
With the referee out of the picture Martin pulled Wesley to his corner where he Kevin and the mighty Pat began to pound on the lightweight. Martin tagged in Pat and Pat grabbed the limp Wesley and easily pressed him over high over head. He then released him and Wesley fell a long way as he slammed down to the mats chest first. Martin then rolled Wesley over and dropped an elbow before exiting the ring.
Brett, Joey and the referee untangled themselves at last. Pat turned his attention to Joey and smashed the crowd favorite with a hard forearm shot to the side of the head. Pat then tied Joey's arms between the second and third ropes Joey sagged totally helpless and vulnerable.
Brett and Pat then duel kicked the sagging form of Joey with hard boot after hard boot to the boy's chest and belly.
Kevin tells Brett, "Tag me in NOW Brett!". Brett didn't want to tag out as he sensed victory was near but he obeyed his Captain and tagged Kevin in. Kevin promptly slammed the weak and shaken Wesley. Pat untied Joey and held him in a full nelson. Kevin whipped Wesley to the ropes and Pat put Joey's body in front of the rebounding kid and Wesley slammed Joey as Pat held him. Wesley fell flat on his back. Pat then power slammed the blond muscle boy on top of him. Like a grinning little gargoyle Kevin hopped up on Joey's back and the referee counted 1..2..3 and got the second fall for his team giving them the win.
The crowd was in a state of disbelief. They never suspected that Kevin's little circle could have won such a big match. The booing was loud as Dane went to see to his partners. Joey was slow getting up and Wesley seemed barely conscious. The winners went to deliver their now traditional post match beating but a squad of wrestlers charged the ring to assure that that would not happen. The tag teams of Keegan and Ross, Corwin and Drew and Troy and Alex as well as Benji, Toby, Justin Paul, Billy, Timon and Falcon formed a ring around the three remaining members of Dane's team. Hopelessly outnumbered the victorious four slowly retreated to the locker room. By now Wesley and Joey got to their feet on shakey legs. The crowd gave them a round of polite applause though their disappointment of not seeing Kevin and pals get their just due was obvious.
