Travis Vs Wesley...I jimsub81
A few weeks ago Wesley and Willy had had fought an all out war of a match. Both young muscleboys went at each other hard and brutally for almost 30 minutes. Willy , the slight underdog, eventually came out with a submission win as he worked over Wesley's arm. Wes had felt a little down after the match but he realized he lost fair and square to a tough competitor. The two boys slowly became closer and now were fast friends. They were almost total opposites except for their love for wrestling and their outstanding abilities in the ring.
Willy was a cute, blonde haired guy who had girls chasing after him all the time. He hung out with the so called "cool" kids at school. Wesley was by contrast, for lack of a better word, a nerd. He had a bookish look with his thick glasses. but even so Wesley had perhaps one of the best ripped and toned bodies inTW. Most of Willy's other friends didn't understand their friendship but that didn't matter to him. He had come to really respect Wesley and loved to train with him. But a common thought was present in the backs of both boy's minds. Each knew that one day they would have to fight each other to get to the LW title someday. Both boys were sitting along the wall of the gym casually chatting when MW Travis came walking up to them.
Travis was a relative newcomer to TW yet he made his debut bout a most impressive one as he took out the superheavyweight Lucian. Travis was flying high and when he saw Willy and Wesley he came over to greet them, and hopefully take in a few more compliments on his win. Travis knew both lightweights from school. He knew Willy to be one of "his kind". Travis considered himself terribly cool. He wore his Nautica clothing and his David Duval style shades with pride. He wondered why a hip kid like Willy would be hanging out with this dweeby Wesley guy who was wearing an oversized T-shirt with a Star Trek print on it. "Hey guys," said Travis, "what's shaken?" Willy and Wesley both said, "Not much." Wesley congratulated Travis on his win over Lucian. Travis accepted with more than a little ego showing. Travis being new apparently didn't know of Wesley's win over the tough MW Jordan and said, "Yeah kid, it was a good start for me. Maybe someday you'll get a win out of your weight class." Willy began to speak up to inform Travis of Wesley's wins but Wes silenced him with his hand and allowed Travis to go on, "Who knows there Mr. Star Trek, if you keep working out you may even get some guns like this." Travis pulled his shirt back and flexed his biceps. It bulged a little and Travis glowed with pride. Again Willy started to speak out about Wesley's physique and again Wes silenced him with a slight grin and said, "Well, Travis you may be right. Maybe someday I'll get to be as big and strong as you. I guess I'll just have to keep drinking my milk." Travis just laughed and said, "Yeah Kid, you do that!". He turned to leave and Wesley called out, "Hey Travis just a second." Travis turned and looked at nerdboy. Wesley said, "How bout you and me sign a match. I'm a weight class below you so I have to challenge you. So how bout it?" Travis smiled and said, "Are you serious?" "Sure", said Wes, "what the heck huh? You get another win and maybe I pick up a few pointers" Travis agreed and they went off to arrange the match. It was inserted into the next card.
"Our next match is an interdivisional bout between a lightweight and a middleweight. First, standing feet 10 inches tall and weighing in at 165 pounds...TRAVIS!" Travis ran to the ring flexing all the way. He got a polite reception but not nearly what he had expected. "And, his opponent, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing in at 148 pounds...WESLEY!" Wesley ran to the ring wearing his same Star Trek shirt. He dropped his glasses in favor of contact lenses but Travis still considered him a geek and couldn't believe he wore that stupid shirt to the match. Wes however got a wildly loud ovation. The fans knew Wesley well, much better than Travis did apparently. Travis just smiled as Wes entered the ring. The two made eye contact and Travis's jaw almost hit the floor when Wes slowly peeled off his shirt. For the first time Travis saw Wesley's finely honed body. The kid's muscles were bulging and well defined. He abs were a complete 8-pack while his pecs looked hard as stone. Wes could not help but flex just a bit. The crowd loved it and they loved him. Travis and Wes squared off and the older boy was still a bit ga ga over seeing the "real" Wesley. As the bell rang Wes just smiled and said, "OK, let the lesson begin!"
Travis and Wes approached each other. They went into a collar & elbow lockup and Wesley quickly twisted Travis into a side head lock. Travis shot an elbow to the hard abs which Wes absorbed with flinching. Wes cranked on the pressure and Travis sank to his knees. Wes released him and put a hand to the back and forced Travis into the ropes. He hit chest first and came bouncing back to get nailed across the back of the head with a clothesline. Travis stumbled forward and Wes came in right behind him planting a knee to the back. The middleweight went down with a grunt. Wesley dropped down with a knee to the back further winding him.
Wesley then pulled Travis up and delivered a big backhand chop to the bigger boy's chest. Travis staggered at the force of the blow but managed to take a swipe at the young muscleboy. Wes ducked the arm and came back driving a muscle powered fist into Travis's flat yet soft gut. Wes could hit hard and Travis felt the hard fist dig in. He doubled over and Wesley brought his arm down across the shoulder blades. Travis was driven to his knees as Wesley manhandled him. But Wes didn't allow Travis to rest long as he quickly grabbed an arm and pulled him up again and tossed him to the rope. Travis rebounded and Wes met him with a solidly connecting shoulder block that lifted Travis off his feet and laid him out flat!
Wesley was well studied (go figure) in the tactics of wrestling and didn't gloat over his feat or waste time. He moved in on the stunned Travis and dropped down with a hard elbow to the soft gut. Travis grunted and Wesley pulled him up from behind. Travis was lifted up and dropped down into an atomic drop. He went stumbling forward toward the turnbuckle. Again Wesley came in right behind and grabbed Travis's arm up and twisted it behind him in an arm lock. Travis cried out as his shoulder was twisted. The cool and cocky Travis could not believe that he was being whipped so badly. He knew if he didn't do something and quickly he would be the victim of a "squash job." The tought of the lightweight boy beating him inspired Travis who was bravely battling as Wesley was forcing his body into the turnbuckles over and over. Travis was slowly being reduced under Wesley's punishing slams. After the seventh slam into the corner Wesley allowed Travis to fall to the canvas.
The crowd was chanting "WES-LEY, WES-LEY!" Even through his pain Travis was angered that they were not cheering for him! After all he was the "cool guy" Wesley was a freaking geek! But the cool boy was getting his butt whipped when he decided to pull out the stops. As Wesley bent over to pull him up again Travis shot out a quick thumb to the throat. Wes grabbed his neck and fell back gagging. The referee cautioned Travis but the damage was done. Travis was still winded and dizzy from the pounding he had taken but he knew he had only a small window of opportunity to get in some damage of his own.
With Wesley still straining to get his breath back Travis grabbed his head and pulled him down and laid in three big knee lifts to Wesley's hard abs. When those seemed to have no affect Travis straightened out the arm and whipped in a few pointed toe boot points to the upper stomach area. After the fifth kick at last Wes let out a groan as even his hard abs could not take that sort of abuse too long. Sensing a weakness Travis laid in another hard toe to the same area and Wesley gasped and fell to his knees.
Travis came round behind Wesley and drove a knee to the back forcing him to his hands and knees. Another hard knee sent Wesley flat down on his stomach. Travis was gaining in strength and he dropped a big knee down onto the small of Wesley's back. The younger boy let out a grunt but still managed to get to his hands and knees again. Travis went to drop another knee and Wesley, ever the intelligent wrestler, rolled away just in time. Travis had a wave of pain shoot up through his leg as his knee impacted the mats. He fell off to his side and Wes used just a few moments to recover.
He had not shown it but the remarks Travis had made that day in the gym were very annoying to Wesley. And now that Travis had resorted to a thumb to the throat made the muscleboy even angrier. He grabbed Travis up by the nape of the neck and rammed a mighty fist into the lower belly of Travis. Wesley's knuckles went deep and Travis moaned as he bent over. Wesley held him up and slipped on a front face lock followed by a DDT. Travis was almost out and Wesley decided to give Travis another shot by pulling the dazed and stunned kid to his feet. Wesley shot a hard forearm to the chest staggering the middleweight. Wes then snatched up Travis and did what the audience hopped he would. He pressed the 165 pounds over his head quite easily, not once not twice, but five times. Travis was amazed at Wesley's strength. He knew he was in trouble as he felt Wesley press him one more time and toss him to the ropes. He chest came down on the top rope and he was sent flying back into the ring landing on his back with a thud. Wes went over to him and Travis made a lunge at his balls. Wesley figured Travis would resort to that tried and true last ditch attempt and he guessed right and avoided the nut shot. He grabbed the arching arm instead and pulled it behind Travis turning him as he did over to his stomach. Wesley leaned into the arm. And, much as Willy had done to him in his own loss, Wesley applied the pressure onto Travis's arm. Travis was trapped in the center of the ring with no way out. He knew Wesley could seriously injure his arm. With now means of escape and now out of ideas Travis called out his submission, "OK, OK Man..I give..now let go!"
The bell rang and the announcer came on and said, "Here is your winner...WESLEY!" The crowd went nuts as Wes waved to them. Willy and Willy's friend LW Champ Samuel came into the ring to congratulate him. Wesley was a little surprised to see Samuel there too but he knew that he and Willy were good friends so he accepted Samuel's congratulations. The three left the ring together leaving Travis alone to consider the irony of his record; a win over a heavyweight and a loss to a lightweight. He wondered deep down inside just how good he really was and just how far he could go in TW.
