Corwin&Drew vs Keith&Rich jimsub81

After the evening of the 8 man tag event and the 6 man rumble the TW league was riding a high it had not seen before. The promoters wanted to keep it going. One of the attractions of that nights event was a tag team match with Corwin and Drew. They had impressed the crowd a lot and the promoters wanted to keep them in the spotlight. It was suggested to the handsome duo that they take on another notable tag team. The team that the promoters had in mind was Keith and Rich. This team was good but not too well liked after their joining in the attack against Chris and Andy. When told that Keith and Rich had already signed the contract Corwin and Drew thought about it but not for long before they signed up for the match next week.

Joey had just finished with his narrow victory over Martin when the announcer got ready to introduce the tag team event. "Our next event is a tag team match. First, at a combined weight of 356 pounds...KEITH AND RICH!" The 17 and 18 year old were booed soundly as they entered the arena. Most of the audience did not like how they had taken part in the beating of Chris & Andy but the team didn't seem to care. They entered with an air of superiority. They made dismissing gestures to the crowd. They climbed into the ring. Much like Janice of the Price Is Right would point to some sort of kitchen appliance Keith and Rich pointed toward each other as if he were some piece of prime beefcake. The audience was not impressed and waited for the next intro. "And, their opponents, at a combined weight of 327 pounds...CORWIN AND DREW!". This was what the ladies had been waiting for and the high pitched squeals of teen and preteen girls filled the arena. The handsome team, wearing their skimpy leopard loincloths, raced to the ring at full speed and did their traditional leap over the top rope. There was little doubt as to who the audience preferred. The two teams were actually quite close in size. Keith and Rich had small edge there due to Rich's tall body and 191 pounds. Corwin and Drew had a lot of experience and worked extremely well together but they knew this team they faced was not to be taken lightly. They were known for pulling a dirty trick from time to time but were still very competent wrestlers. The bell rang...

Corwin started against Keith. Almost identical in size the two hooked up in the center of the ring. Neither boy could manage to get an advantage over the other. Keith tried to kick at Crown's leg and trip him but Corwin was ready for such a move and he shoved Keith down to the mats. Corwin locked on an arm bar and Keith could barely move. Corwin twisted harder and tried to get Keith to submit but there was now way Keith was going to quit so soon. Rich saw his partner was in a jam and rushed the ring swinging a long leg into Crown's gut. Drew was almost on Rich as the kick was delivered and he began a slugfest with the tall teen. Corwin hooked Keith's leg and dropped him. He then landed an elbow drop to Keith's chest. The ref had lost all control as all four wrestlers were whaling away on each other. At last the referee was able to get Rich and Drew out of the ring and Corwin and Keith converged again.

Keith raised hands for a test of strength. Corwin obliged but Keith shot a kick to Crown's belly instead. Corwin recoiled and retreated to tag in Drew. Drew ran at a quickly backing up Keith and caught him by the hair whipping him to the ropes. He drop kicked Keith as he rebounded. Keith went down hard but still had presence of mind to crawl to his corner. Drew was up fast and tried to stop him but Keith reached Rich's hand. Drew was tall but Rich was 3 inches taller yet and perhaps just a bit stronger but certainly not as agile. But Rich's agility looked fine as he rushed Drew and scooped him up in a body slam and quickly dropped an elbow to the lean chest. Drew was getting up and Rich aided him by pulling his hair. He then tossed Drew to the turnbuckle. Drew hit chest first and Rich followed with a heavy splash. Rich then scooped Drew up in a rack. Drew was bent over Rich's broad shoulders and looked in pain. Now it was Crown's turn to intervene. He hit Rich's knees from behind and Rich fell face forward to the mats with Drew's body landing on top of him. The referee ushered Corwin out but now Drew had the advantage

Drew dropped a knee to the small of Rich's back and Rich groaned. Drew then lifted him up and shot him to the ropes nailing his belly with a Knee as he returned. Drew bounced back against the ropes and Drew followed him with a clothesline the toppled him over the top rope to the mats around the ring. Drew quickly followed him outside and promptly raised Rich up and slammed his head to the apron. Rich was dazed and Drew was about to dish out some more when Keith plowed a body block into him blindsiding him. The blow hurled Drew, chest first, to the metal ring post. Drew was instantly hurt and went down hard. With Keith's help Rich got back into the ring then legally tagged Keith in. Corwin likewise helped Drew in but Drew's chest was really hurting. Keith positioned himself between Drew and Corwin. Drew sagged to his left a little as he favored his injured chest. Corwin did what any wrestler wanting a win would do and attacked the weak spot. He launched a drop kick that connected perfectly on the boy's aching left pectoral. Drew went down hard ,agony on his face. Corwin then dropped an elbow to the same spot and Drew was writhing and thrashing wildly. He needed to make a tag big time. Keith hauled Drew up and pulled him to Rich whom he tagged in. But he held Drew's hands behind his back for Rich to land two heavy punches to that same injured left pec. Drew was unable to mount any offensive as Rich backed him to a neutral corner and hammered blow after blow to that injured spot with the occasional gut punch thrown in for good measure. Drew was sagging badly and Rich suplexed him to the center of the ring and went for a finishing move. He climbed the top rope and went for a flying body splash. Drew dodged and Rich splashed mat. Drew rolled to and tagged an eager Corwin who attacked the dazed and hurting Rich. A heavy stomp to the back followed by a knee drop and Corwin was in command. Showing strength not agility Corwin lifted the bigger boy into a crotch slam and down went Rich. Another elbow drop and Corwin grabbed Rich by the hair and tossed him to a neutral turnbuckle back first. Rich almost immediately slumped and Corwin ran at him leaping and dropping a double knee drop to the outstretched belly. Rich was sinking fast and Corwin ,in another impressive display of strength, suplexed Rich to the mats near the ropes on his and Drew's side. Drew was still hurting but looked 100% better he tagged Corwin and they each climbed the corner ropes. Everyone knew what was coming. And they were right. In perfect unison they each leapt from the top ropes landing an elbow directly on target; Drew's to the chest and Crown's to the gut. Corwin quickly exited before the DQ and Drew covered Rich for the easy 3 count. Drew was still in pain both from the beating his chest took plus the high risk maneuver didn't exactly help him. Keith ran and kicked Drew in the back. But Corwin was there in a flash delivering a flurry of punches to Keith followed by a drop kick that sent him over the ropes. Corwin then helped Drew to his feet and both had their hands raised in victory. They had had a tough one this time against a tag them that worked well together. Keith and Rich were not to be taken lightly. And Corwin and Drew learned that this night. But winners, of two matches in a row, Corwin a Drew were on a roll and were eager to extend that next week.
