jimsub81 Joey vs Drew

The night of the bout Joey was all smiles at the idea of returning to action. He was confident, strong and ready. He knew Drew as going to be a tough challenge but he knew he had strength on his side and Drew would have no one to tag out to in this match. Joey caught a look at Drew across the room and cringed when his worst enemy Jacoby come over and patted Drew's shoulder and wished him luck. Joey had almost forgotten that Drew as part of the hated Posse as was Jacoby. Joey respected Drew's talent as a wrestler but still could bring himself to call him friend knowing he associated with the likes of Jacoby. He would show Drew no mercy in the ring.

Drew accepted Jacoby's good wishes. Corwin smacked his partner's butt and said, "You be careful out there." Drew smiled and said, "Corwin, worry about yourself..your fighting KANE I'm fighting Joey..come on!"

"Our next match is a middleweight match up. First, standing 6 feet tall and weighing in at 165 pounds, taking a break from tag teaming tonight...DREW!" The crowd roared its dislike of the tall, lean wrestler who was not only one half of the Outlaws but firmly planted in Kevin's Posse. Drew ran to the ring and hurtled the ropes in his classic style. "And, his opponent, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing in at 160 pounds..JOEY!" The crowd was on its feet as they welcomed Joey back after a long absence. News that Joey was off retooling his game was well known and everyone wondered if it would change his losing ways of late. The two faced off. Drew was a little taller and lankier but. He had speed, agility and wrestling skill on his side. He was confident. Joey had one of the best builds in the league. He showed his muscles to all as he flexed his pecs and abs to intimidate Drew a little. They took their corners. The bell rang...

They both came out fast quickly locking up. Almost as soon as they did Joey pressed his hands to Drew's chest and shoved him to his butt. Drew was up fast and forced another lock up that Joey broke quickly again by shoving him back hard into the corner. Drew had a slight look of frustration Joey smiled evilly at him. Drew came out and danced circles around him. Joey more or less stood still turning just to watch him. Drew opted to try the collar & elbow lock up again. This time Joey muscled him into a side head lock, whipped a big knee up to the stomach, scooped him up and body slammed Drew with authority.

As he lay stunned Joey dropped down with a heavy elbow to the chest. Joey was up fast pulling Drew up from behind and Irish whipped him to the ropes. He bounced off and tried to direct an elbow at the blonde youth but Joey ducked under the counter attack swinging a fist that smacked Drew across the stomach making him gasp as he doubled over. Joey was then behind Drew and reached down and grabbed both feet and literally yanked Drew's feet out from under him. Drew fell forward with a thud as his chest slammed the mat. Joey dropped an elbow across the back, was up fast and bounced himself off the ropes landing a heavy leg across the back of the head.

Drew's world was spinning as Joey was taking it to him fast and hard. He didn't expect this from Joey. But Joey was not messing around as he pulled Drew to his feet so he could send him to the ropes again which he did. Drew was rebounding and Joey slammed a clothesline across his chest. Drew was sent to his back hard.

Corwin winced as his buddy was getting pasted! Rusty and new Posse member Steve watched Drew's lackluster performance with shaking heads of disgust.

The muscleboy didn't stop for a second though as he dropped a knee to the shoulder and hoisted the Outlaw up and sent him spinning to the ropes again. Drew knew he needed to regroup. He caught the rope and slipped his legs out to the floor. The referee began his count, the audience booed, Joey taunted him but Drew knew he needed these few seconds to get into his game. As the ref got to eight, Drew stepped back in.

Joey smiled as he knew he was winning. Drew decided to go with his favorite move and launched a drop kick. Joey knew Drew well and had expected that move long before now. He dodged the kick and Drew dropped himself to the floor with a thud. Joey was able to pull the stunned boy up and shoved him into the ropes chest first. Drew came bouncing back wildly and was caught from behind and taken over into a reverse suplex. Drew's shoulders slammed the canvas. Joey dropped a knee that crushed Drew between the waist band and navel. Joey stayed planted on top of him as Drew grimaced in pain. Joey was still feeling anger toward Drew for paling around with Jacoby. He pinched Drew's cheeks into a kissy look and said, "Hey Drew, I think Benji still has that open date if you want it!"

Drew's temper flared and he heaved himself forward with all he had. He knocked Joey to his ass and swung a boot to his muscular right pec. Joey winced and grabbed at his hurt chest. Drew grabbed both ankles and spread the legs apart. He laid a big stomp to Joey's ripped abdominals. The tough blonde grunted but absorbed the blow but Drew landed three more before turning to apply a figure four leg lock. Joey was not ready to be taken there and planted a boot to Drew's butt and shoved. Drew went slamming chest first to the turnbuckles. Joey was up fast and rushed to slam him. Drew used the top rope as a brace and hopped up. Joey rammed himself into the corner. Drew landed behind him and pulled him backward to rolling over his shoulders and coming to a sitting position on Joey's chest holding the legs. The referee was down and just before his hand hit a third time Joey wiggled out.

Drew was still in command and drove a hard fist that smacked Joey's 6-pack. Drew's knuckles actually hurt slightly from the impact. He was impressed Joey had developed his body so well on his hiatus.

Still surprised at Drew's quick move Joey was not ready to react when Drew hauled him up by his hair. Joey shot a quick punch to Drew's lean stomach. Drew felt the hit dig in but held on and raised his knee to Joey's head snapping him back to the mats. As Joey held his head laying stunned Drew raised Joey and Irish whipped him to the ropes. This time Drew landed his drop kick. Two feet slammed into Joey's hard chest sending him staggering backward and leaned against the ropes. Drew charged forward clotheslining Joey right over the top rope!

Rusty and Steve now nodded in approval as Drew turned the tide of the match. He was representing the Posse and they wanted him to live up to its reputation of winning. Corwin breathed a sigh of relief too as he had feared Drew was on his way to being squashed. He now went back to the locker room to get ready for his own solo match against Kane.

Joey was trying to gain his senses as Drew had him reeling. But he was not going to have much time recover as Drew jumped down behind him and grabbed a fistful of hair and rammed his head to the ring apron. The ref cautioned him to allow Joey a chance to get back in. Drew got back inside and as Joey got to the ring apron Drew charged him, hooked Joey under an armpit and arm tossed him back into the ring. Drew dropped a knee to Joey's firm gut that seemed to have no affect. But that didn't stop Drew from pulling Joey up from behind. Drew went to do an atomic drop buy Joey lunged himself backward and Drew lost his balance landing on his back and Joey's 160 pounds fell right on top of him crushing the wind from his lungs!

Joey rolled over and plowed Drew's navel with a spearing shot. Joey focused his anger now and pulled Drew up from behind and shoved him chest first to the turnbuckles. Joey rammed his shoulder right into Drew's back crushing him into the corner again. Drew was having trouble drawing a breath. Joey sensed that and continued to ram his shoulder into Drew's back till he had him sagging in the corner. Joey grabbed the nape of Drew's neck as well as his waist band and took him to a power slam position on his shoulders. Joey decided to show off a little and jerked Drew's 165 pounds cleanly over his head. The audience roared its approval. Everyone knew what was coming including Drew who braced for the impact. Rusty and Steve groaned in disgust as Joey power bombed Drew front side down to the mats from the high position. Drew bounced as he hit!

Joey was about to go for a finishing splash and cover when he was distracted by Jacoby at ringside. Jacoby didn't actually interfere but he called out words of encouragement to Drew, "Come on Drew! Whip this loser's ass!" Jacoby had taken it upon himself to motivate Drew. Drew saw Jacoby and knew Joey's dislike for the kid. Drew decided he would try to explain things to Joey later. Right now he had to do his best to avoid being beaten by Joey.

Jacoby insulted Joey with constant yelling and Joey leaned over the ropes pointing and yelling back at the tough lightweight. Meanwhile Drew recovered. He saw Joey's back turned to him but resisted to attack it. Drew moved in behind him slowly. Joey was still distracted by Jacoby but turned to be met by Drew hauling him up and over into a body slam. Joey bounced up faster than Drew expected. But Joey had his adrenaline flowing as Jacoby had really got him riled up. He also saw his opponent as a friend of the hated Jacoby and decided to take some of his anger out on Drew.

Joey charged but Drew dodged the enraged boy and hooked his arm taking him over and down in an arm drag. Joey hit the mats and Drew maintained the grip but was finding it difficult as Joey powered to his feet.

Now would be the perfect time to tag in Corwin Drew thought but not this match. He was going to have to handle the rejuvenated muscleboy alone.

As Joey got to his feet he looked as if he would power out of Drew's arm lock. Drew sent a sharp kick to Joey's midsection that only seemed to make the strong 16 year old struggle harder. Drew held Joey's arm straight out and whipped kick after kick into Joey's stomach and chest. The first few seemed to enrage Joey and make him fight harder but the last 5 or 6 started to dig in and the seventh one broke through Joey's muscle shields in his stomach and he gasped and fell to his knees. Drew moved in closer and stretched the arm over Joey's head to open up an assault to the ribs but, like a wounded animal, Joey turned and landed a hard right to Drew's midsection taking him off guard and making him release the arm.

Joey was really angry now. Drew was associating with guys Joey despised. He had rammed his head to the apron outside the ring and he had used Jacoby to distract him. Joey had no idea Jacoby had acted alone in the capacity. Now Joey channeled all that anger into a volley of punches that had Drew staggering across the ring. Muscle powered rights and lefts hit Drew from groin to neck. When a missive right uppercut ripped into Drew's upper gut it lifted his feet off the floor and drove the breath from his lungs. Joey then snatched him up in a crotch slam depositing him hard. Up again went Drew as he was hurled into the ropes. A solid forearm to the chest sent him to his back hard. Again he was hoisted up and thrown to the ropes. A well placed shoulder block flattened him yet again!<br> <br>Drew was dazed and hurting when Joey again picked him up. With Drew draped over his shoulder in a fireman's carry Joey climbed to the top of the nearest corner. The crowd cheered him on. Drew was barely recovered enough to know where he was. By the time he realized it his was flying through the air as Joey power bombed him from the top rope. Drew was crushed. Joey could have taken the pin there but he couldn't resist doing his own finisher. He bounced himself off the middle rope and did a midair turn and splashed down across Drew's chest. He hooked a leg for good measure though it was not needed. The referee hit the mats three times and the crowd went wild.

"Here is you winner, by pinfall...JOEY!" Joey stood and waved to the cheering crowd. He pointed at Jacoby who was entering to see to Drew's condition as was Rusty and Steve. "Rematch you creep! I want a rematch! You got the balls?" Jacoby looked back seemingly unimpressed and said, "Anytime loser! You pick it!" Joey said, "Count on it." He looked to see Steve and Rusty getting Drew up to his knees. Drew was shaking his head and Joey felt just a touch guilty. He didn't want to see Drew hurt. Joey went over to ask Drew how he was doing but before he got too close Steve blocked his path. "You keep you distance shit for brains!" Joey was little startled, "I just want to see if he's OK?" Steve put a big hand to Joey's chest and shoved him back saying, "He's fine!" Then Steve looked over at Rusty and asked, "Is he fine?" Rusty nodded yes and said, "Drew I think you better stick to tag teaming." Drew got to his feet and said, "I think your right." He went walking the wrong way and Rusty grabbed his arm saying, "Whoa there big fella, this way." Joey stood and watched Drew's Posse mates take him back to the locker room. For a while before the match Joey thought he and Drew were going to be friends again but now he realized that was not going to happen yet.
