Upcoming Special Tag Team Event jimsub81

Following the match between Wesley and Tommy (which Wes won by sleeper hold) there was a large brawl that took place outside the ring. Pat, Vinny, Philip and Martin had come to the aid of their "stable member" Tommy. They had been intercepted by Dane, Joey and Justin Paul. The insuring brawl had caused many rivalries to be born and reborn. Several weeks before that Dane and a team of three others (one from each weight class plus one additional teen) had taken on Kevin and a similar team. Kevin's team had won the best two out of three falls. Dane was furious to lose to them and had vowed to win the next time they met. As the brawl was calmed by the officials Dane threw out the rematch challenge. Kevin gleefully accepted it knowing it would be a big crowd draw and keep him clearly in the spotlight.

Dane and Kevin met privately after most of the championship matches were over and agreed on the structure of the multi teen bout. As before there would be one member from each weight class on each side and instead of one additional member there would be two. Two members from each team would be allowed in the ring at a single time. Neither Dane nor Kevin wanted to tip their hand as to who would be on their teams but they agreed that there would be no "surprises" and only current TW members would be allowed. It was also decided that neither team could put two heavyweights into the ring at the same time. The match would be decided by two out of three falls either by pinfall or submission.

Kevin had just lost his big heavyweight Pat so he chose Lance for that position, Kevin himself would fill the lightweight slot, Rusty would be one of the "wildcard" choices as he was the biggest gun Kevin had left in his arsenal. The middleweight and second wildcard member would be made up with the tag team of Alan and Greg. Both these teens were strong and tough and, Kevin thought, if he could put an actual tag team in the ring at one time they would work well in the ring together against their opponents.

Dane would fill the heavyweight void. He wanted Wesley for the lightweight roll but the 14 year old muscleboy was going to be out of town so Dane turned to Justin Paul as he had fought so well outside the ring during the brawl. JP was thrilled to be asked. Joey was the natural choice for the middleweight slot. Dane's two other choices were Falcon and Daryl. He knew Kevin would choose Rusty and Falcon had done such a good job against him in their match that Dane thought him a good addition. And lastly Daryl. After a trip to the dark side Daryl was back and swore loyalty to Dane and his team. It was the last match like this where Daryl had turned on Dane after an accidental hit.

So the teams were set:

Kevin, Lance, Rusty, Alan & Greg

Vs

Dane, Justin Paul, Joey, Falcon & Daryl

The match would take place on the next TW Saturday night.
