Martin Vs Jeff...I jimsub81

Things had not been going well for many members of Kevin's little posse. Martin, Philip, Tommy and Vinny got together and made a pact with each other to improve their respective records by beating some good wrestlers and not just "jobber types". They were actually proud of their association with Kevin and wanted to show the rest of the league that not only were they "the Bad Guys" but could back up their bravado as well. Indeed TW was going to have to "watch out".

Martin took the lead and decided to show the league exactly what he was made of. He had lost his last singles match to Joey but that was a while ago. Intense training that had improved both his skills and endurance had been part of his association with the "Posse". He knew if he were to face the popular blonde again he would mop up the floor with the kid. But he wanted to make a much bigger splash and went right for the gusto and challenged heavyweight Jeff. Jeff had not seen action in a while and saw in Martin a worthy opponent but one he could surely beat. He agreed and the match was on.Following the tag match that Chris & Andy had won The announcer began, "Our next match is a Middleweight Vs Heavyweight challenge. First, standing 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing in at an even 200 pounds...JEFF! The tallest wrestler in the league entered to loud but not overwhelming applause. He was the favorite given his opponent but the crowd didn't know a lot about him. All Kevin knew was that he did not want another loss for his guys. He was furious at Martin for signing this match as Jeff was bigger, older and probably stronger. He didn't even see Martin off before the bout. Philip, Tommy and Vinny did though as the announcer continued, "And, his opponent from the Middleweight division, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing in at 170 pounds ...MARTIN!" Boos as far as you could hear filled the arena. Martin strutted to the ring showed his awesome body. Even those who booed him had to appreciate the his perfect V shaped torso and ripped abdominal muscles. He was quite the physical specimen. The two squared off and Jeff towered over Martin by a full 6 inches. Jeff was no stranger to the weight room either as everyone could see. The bell rang and the fight was on...

Both came out fast and Jeff wanted to establish his dominance early and immediately picked Martin up and body slammed him. Martin was more surprised than hurt but Jeff had him up again quickly. Jeff picked up Martin's 170 pounds as if he were a teddy bear and literally threw him to the turnbuckles. Martin slammed back first and knew Jeff would drive in on him but he couldn't move out of the way fast enough as the heavyweight plowed a shoulder into him. Martin was winded and sagged a little in the corner. Jeff slammed a fist into Martin's ripped 8-pack. Jeff actually hurt his fist and Martin appeared to absorb the blow but he did feel the heavyweight's punch jar him deep inside.

Jeff didn't have time to admire Martin's conditioning as at the moment he was intent on destroying the 15 year old. Martin shot off a punch that went off target and hit Jeff in the shoulder. Jeff stifled the feeble attack with a hard kick to the stomach then pulled Martin into a big knee lift to the same target. He then grabbed Martin's arm and back flipped him. Martin came down hard on his back as Jeff held his arm twisting it all the while. Martin was in serious pain. The referee asked if he wanted to submit and Martin called out a loud "No". Jeff was getting a bit irritated at the tough kid and wanted to finish things now. He dropped a heavy elbow the chest then picked up Martin and again threw him, this time at the ropes. Martin bounced off the ropes and Jeff extended his long leg and meant to let Martin's jaw meet the bottom of his boot. But Martin saw the move and ducked under the outstretched leg and drove his shoulder up and into Jeff's groin actually lifting him off his feet. Martin shoved forward and slammed Jeff back first to the turnbuckles.

Jeff's nuts were aching badly and he was short of breath. Martin had just taken a severe beating and needed some time to regroup but knew Jeff was hurt and had to be put down quickly. Martin swung a kick into Jeff's gut and hopped up on the second rope and began firing punch after punch to the sides of Jeff's head. Jeff's head was spinning and Martin got off the rope and kicked Jeff again in the stomach and turned him around. Martin got back up on the second rope and grabbed the back of Jeff's head slamming the turnbuckle ten times. Martin stepped back as Jeff staggered away from the corner. He looked almost out on his feet. Martin brought a forearm cross his chest and put the tall heavyweight down. He then dropped both knees onto Jeff's soft gut that Mike had worked so well in his victory over Jeff. Jeff coughed and rolled over in pain.

Martin had now taken charge of the match as he pulled Jeff to his feet. Martin actually had to reach up a bit but he delivered a series of chops across Jeff's big pectorals. He then grasped an arm and whipped Jeff to the ropes. Using Jeff's own momentum Martin carried him over into a power slam. Martin was now getting pumped up as he saw a victory. He stomped the forehead and dropped an elbow to it. Jeff was hurting as the muscular boy two years younger than he took it to him. Martin kicked Jeff's ribs a few times and dropped another knee to the stomach. He pulled him up yet again and tossed him to the corner. He charged but Jeff more fell than dodged and Martin hit the turnbuckles. Jeff fell away and sank to his knees. Martin was hurt but showed what his hours of conditioning and practice had done for him and continued to press his attack. He fired a kick that hit Jeff's underbelly flipping him over. Martin looked as if he had borrowed a move from Corwin and Drew as he leapt off the top rope landing an elbow that drove deep into Jeff's lower belly. Martin was nearing exhaustion but was intent on making his match one to be remembered. He picked the now virtually limp Jeff up on his shoulders. With a mighty heave Martin the pressed Jeff's 200 pound body straight up. His arms wobbled but Martin held the boy aloft in a more than impressive display of strength. Martin dropped Jeff and landed another elbow to his chest as he fell. Martin grabbed and hooked a leg and Jeff was counted out. The bell sounded and Martin's arm was raised in victory. He was sweaty and exhausted but he made his point. He was ready to take on all comers. Even those who hated Martin had to give the kid credit. It was an impressive win over the heavyweight

Tommy, Philip and Vinny came to the ring and met Martin outside the ring and naturally the crowd booed but they didn't care as the lifted Martin to their shoulders and carried their buddy back to the locker room. When the got there Kevin was waiting for him. He apologized to Martin and gave him a big hug. There was going to be a great celebration at Kevin's place that night.
