Willy Vs Cliff...I jimsub81
5/21/01 9:46 pm Willy and Cliff were two guys on the same mission. Each wanted his first win in TW. Willy was well on his way to that goal against Chaz when some interference from Chaz's buddies ended his hopes. Most watching felt Chaz would have gone down to defeat to the strong, well built Willy. Cliff had yet to have a match but had been around for a while now. They met a few days before the next event and struck up a conversation. They agreed to a bout despite Willy being a lightweight and Cliff a Middleweight. Willy was confident his muscle could overcome Cliff's slightly larger size.
After the shocking match where Dane stood alone and lost the TW tag team title their match was ready to begin. In the locker room. Walt was waiting with his friend Cliff. Walt was giving him a shoulder rub down to help calm the youngsters nerves of excitement. Booker and Sack, who had a handicap match against Walt coming up soon saw this. Nobody had known that Cliff and Walt were friends. They went over to where Willy stood with Samuel and Luke. "Hey Willy," said Booker "Just wanted to tell you good luck tonight and to watch your back." "What do you mean by that, what's up?", asked Willy. "Not too sure, maybe nothing", said Zack. "Its just that Booker and I got a bad vibe about that guy Cliff. Good luck man. Hope you wipe up the mat with him." "You'll be fine Willy.", said Luke "Just remember what we've been working on and you'll beat him."
"And now our next event is a lightweight Vs middleweight match. First standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing in at 169 pounds...CLIFF" Cliff entered to a reception fitting someone who had not seen action before. He drew a few looks from the young girls as he was sort of cute and had a nicely toned, but not ripped, body. "And, his opponent, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing in at 150 pounds...WILLY!" Samuel slapped Willy on the butt and said, "Kick his ass buddy," as Willy ran to the ring. Willy got a mixed reception. He got a lot of cheers from those who hated Chaz. And, since Willy was now a sworn enemy of the tough boy Chaz, his followers booed him pretty soundly. Despite the slight size advantage Cliff had the two boys seemed to match up fairly well. Willy's well put together body seemed even up the size advantage held by Cliff. Both were well toned and fit but the younger Willy appeared to be just a bit more muscled. The bell rang and the match was on...
They closed together and got into a collar and elbow lock up that lasted all of 4 seconds as Cliff shoved Willy back and into the ropes. Willy, unprepared for the move, came bouncing off and into a knee lift that doubled him over. Cliff then ax handled Willy's back then grabbed the waistband of his shorts and drove him into a corner. His right shoulder impacted hard Cliff spun him around and slammed a punch into his hard ab muscles. Willy absorbed the blow and tried to fire one of his own back that Cliff dodged catching Willy's arm and twisting it behind him driving Willy face first to the floor. Cliff got up on Willy's back and applied pressure to the standing arm bar. Willy's smooth face was a picture of pain as Cliff poured on the pressure. With some more ring experience Willy would have immediately realized to hook his ankle over the rope but he didn't do this till after Cliff had hurt his arm pretty bad. The referee made Cliff release the hold and Willy got to his feet.
No sooner was he there than Cliff slammed him across his chest with an ax handle. The blow sent Willy to the corner but it also got him angry. Cliff was more than confident as him moved to strike again. Willy lunged at the year older boy and nailed him with a forearm across his chest followed by a punch to his lower stomach. Cliff was totally unprepared for Willy's attack and doubled over only to met by a a knee lift to his belly followed by a second then a third. Cliff was slumping and Willy caught him by the throat with his left arm and shot a few hard punches to his sternum. Cliff was almost completely out of breath when the referee made Willy lose his choke hold. Cliff fell to his hands and knees and Willy took position at his side and laid in a kick to his lower ribs. Cliff went over onto his back and Willy stomped the wide open gut. Cliff moved his hands to cover his belly and Will dropped a knee to the chest. After a quick start Cliff was now in a bad way as Willy pulled him to his feet.
With more than just a little bit of showing off in mind Willy lifted Cliff up into a perfect back suplex. He dropped the boy hard on his back. As Cliff was trying to see through the stars Willy dropped down with both knees onto Cliff's lower belly. Cliff's wind rushed from his lungs. Willy stayed with his knees planted in the kid's stomach and leaned down and locked in a pec claw over each of Cliff's tight chest muscles. Cliff began pounding the mats with both arms trying to bear the pain as Willy's strong fingers dug deep into his pectorals. Finally, as if realizing his hands were free, Cliff swung a judo chop to either side of Willy's neck. Willy fell off Cliff stunned as the blows almost knocked him out. Both boys were now trying to recover first. Cliff was up just a little faster and approached Willy who was just getting to his hands and knees.
Cliff rammed a hard kick into Willy's underbelly that winded him. Cliff then pulled Willy up by the ears and whipped him to the ropes. Willy managed to grab the ropes preventing his rebound. Cliff was furious as he had planned to level the kid with a clothesline. Now he charged at Willy. Willy pulled to one side pressing the top rope down at the same time. Cliff tumbled right over the top rope and hit the hard arena floor back first. Willy leapt off the apron landing with both feet on Cliff's belly. Cliff was hurting bad now as Willy pulled him up and began driving his face into the ring apron. He tossed Cliff back into the ring just before the referee counted him out. Willy got back into the ring via a leap over the top rope landing a big knee to Cliff's chest. Willy was really on fire as he pulled Cliff up and began chopping his chest with a series of backhands. Cliff was driven backward and Willy lifted a hard knee into the gut. He turned Cliff around and grabbed the base of his neck and set up a reverse DDT. Willy pulled off the move perfectly. Cliff was unmoving on his back and Willy bounced off the ropes and came down across the chest with a leg drop. Willy covered Cliff and hooked a leg for good measure. The referee easily counted to three. The bell rang and Willy was announced the winner. But he wasn't done fighting yet.
Cliff's good friend Walt was trying to get to the ring to help his buddy but he was just a little late to prevent Cliff's loss. So when he arrived at the ring he decided to extract some revenge for Cliff by getting Willy good. Willy didn't see the big middleweight come up from behind. Walt scooped Willy up and front body slammed him as the crowd went crazy with the booing. Walt kicked Willy in the ribs before pulling him up again. He fired two big fists to the younger, smaller boy's belly and threw him over the ropes on the far side. He saw that Cliff was OK and went after Willy.
When Walt jumped down to continue his assault on Willy but was greeted by Luke, Zack and Booker. Luke was helping Willy up. Walt was quite startled to see all three of them there. He had challenged Zack and Booker to a handicap match but he wasn't ready for them right now. "So", said Booker, "This is your idea of a good match, blindsiding a smaller guy who's just had a tough bout?" Walt said, "Listen man, I challenged both of you to a handicap match. I'm not scared of both of you together. I just came here to help out a friend." Cliff had made his way to that side of the ring and Walt helped him down. "The match was already over asshole!" , said Willy. Cliff's and Willy's eyes briefly met. Each knew they had been through a tough match but Cliff was not yet ready to call Willy the better man. "Hey Cliff", said Luke. Cliff shifted his stare from Willy to him. "I'd watch who you make friends with. I'm not so sure you made a good choice there", he said pointing to Walt. Walt said, "After I'm done with Zack and Booker. What the hell kind of name is that anyway?" He looked at Booker with contempt, "I'll take you on too."
Walt helped a limping Cliff back to the locker room. Willy got back in the ring and took one more bow. The crowd loved him. Then he and Luke and their two new friends went to change clothes also.
